for everyone

I already new what I would put up. My little things. But it is hard to get pictures of them where you can really see the scale of them. I think this is a good way. Better than if I tried taking them on my shelves as I did last time. I cannot fit them all in a shot. Too many. I love little things and have  been collecting them for years. As a matter of fact, when I was 9, I found a key. A key so tiny that my parents were amazed I found it all. It was in my bedroom window of the house my parents had just bought. I still have it. Poor Jim is always teased when I say I love little things. LOL The snickers and laughs at that comment always has him blushing. Poor man. I know guys always want to act like they are all hung like ponies. Little do they know how unappealing that would be for most of us! Before this gets too perverted to publish, here is mine!

The first one I do not think it really showed the scale so I took the second and put a regular teaspoon there so you can see a more accurate size of them. Sorry I couldn’t squeeze more in! LOL Yes the little bell in the back does ring. The little jack knife does open and a tiny little blade is in there. All of the dice are smaller than a regular die. The darker red one is actually wood. The darker white ones are so old they are probably ivory. (I do not condone that at all.) But they were given to me years ago and I saved them. The fruit in the basket was bought for me, from Mexico. I was so happy to get them! The tiny bed warmer is a gift from my Mom. So are many of the dice. That shoe is so fracking awesome! You cannot see it but there is all lace work on the side and it is so tiny. My Mommy also gave me that one year before last and I love it. I think it is just gorgeous! The tiny spoon is actually a part of an antique. Used to be that you would get a little silver dish that went with the spoon as a salt dish. I guess if it had the dish with it, it would be worth more than it’s weight in gold. I think it is awesome without the dish! Anyway this is my hobby. Little things! I hope those not in the picture group enjoyed them to and I hope I succeeded in showing them on a better scale. Hugs and Sloppy Kisses to you!

Those are amazing and interesting collection. I like the look of ordinary size old bed warmers, but that tiny one is just lovely.
In Prague you will find tiny glass candies that are soooo cute. I think you would love them.
When I still lived in my parents' house I collected cups and mugs and other things, but we have maids to dust them every day. Now in my own house the thought I have to clean everything by myself stop me from collecting small things. I am a lazy person really ha ha ha.

That is fantastic hobby, glad you did the second shot with the teaspoon for scale!! Somewhere around here I know I have some minature things that came into my hands, not sure how. I think we almost need to do an index of who collects what, I know as a collector I would rather see someone who would appreciate a thing get it, than it continue to stay in the bottom of a drawer, and then there is always trades for those of us who collect the same type of items.

Collecting little things is fun. They are harder to find then one would think! But I love them. I am always fascinated by the fact that I have candles the size of a toothpick that really have wicks and can be lit. LOL They would probably burn in 2 seconds but it is just fun to know that I can.

What a neat collection of "little things". I would never be able to find my little things if I had them. I have a hard enough time finding the BIG things I need now. LOL. Thanks for sharing and they are more than little, they are tiny... But oh so cute. I am glad you enjoy your hobby. I bet it makes it easy to buy for Christmas for ya. I know for my sister, she collects frogs, so yup, she one year for many years got one frog from the Hamilton Collection until she got the whole collection. They are still in her bedroom at my mom and dads. Thanks for stopping by mine. I always love visitors. This one was hard to do with only one picture. Like you I love little things hence the reason I built a victorian doll house.......the whole thing is full of little things.
If you are bored at any time you can see the album of the doll house on my main page.
The chess pieces are so tiny I had to use tweezers to set them up on the chess board.....LOL

OMG......you talk about perfection.
To me even if I do just one thing wrong, even though no one will ever know but me, I consider the whole thing spoiled..........LOL
When I was making the doll house my 'WONDERFUL' kitten decided to chew off one of the ends of the Victorian bed I was making.
Although I managed to splice some wood into the end and re-carve it and no one noticed it, to me it was spoiled.
angeloo00oo wrote on Apr 14
Gosh you did have a look at doll house and my other models. I am so blushing from your lovely comments.........TY
One of the most difficult bits was getting some real toilet paper, un-used by the way, to roll up straight onto the toilet roll holder.......darn thing was so fiddly.
The house is about 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide and about 12 inches deep.
I have no idea but one picture I didn't take was one of the whole house opened up, as the four doors hinge open at the front and the roof hinges up to reveal the nursery and the office.
