Ha! Sounds like myself. I went and put in for a transfer (for a smaller house) and I was sent a list this morning (was kind of quick) anyhoo... I popped into town to have a look at some places (just the outside) - one was on the main road. I thought 'are you insane? No wonder they want a move" LOL then looked at another (fav) which was in a complex with CCTV and door entry system etc... The only down side is it's next to the railway and the road that the busses take to go out, Still, I don't think that'd put me off. The main point is it's IN town whereas where I am, I'm about 2 mile from town which is a royal pain getting in/out. Plus I'd just be along the road to the civil service sports club LOL, maybe too handy ;)
